This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Racist & Ignorant. Wish I could give less than one star. Went in for two sandwiches (nasty and flat) and two drinks, left out to my car with my boyfriend after watching the lady greet every other Hispanic person with a smile and good morning but just a straight face with “are you ready” followed for us… just for the lady to come to knock on the car window while we’re SITTING in the car, car turned off, eating and proceeds to say “are you going to pay for what you stole?” With a nasty attitude. I asked “what are you talking about?” she says “you only paid for one juice”. My boyfriend said “okay no problem , I told you two juices but you can take the money for the second no problem” then adds that we were stuffing things in our pockets, so we asked her to check the camera and then she said “oh no no one told me that I was just asking if you did”…?? Huh?? What are we putting in our pockets? Bread??? Napkins? What is there to take?? After hearing my dialect she corrected herself because I think she thought she was dealing with someone illiterate. Extremely offensive and rude , never in my life have I been treated that way and I hope this place closes soon.

So I’m on a job site in the area and was tired of big chain fast food. I googled bacon egg and cheese wilkesbarre this place popped up review said best New York style bacon egg and cheese. It was all I needed I drove there. I get there the store is dirty outside and inside is unkept but so are the fast food places. I walk in I see some Dominican food that I had and liked, I asked for a bacon egg and cheese he asked how many I said I’ll take two. They say something to each other in Spanish and I ask for some of the Dominican food with it they told me no I can’t have any of that so I said ok. I grab a soda and pay. They ring me up and start whispering in Spanish. The total was 13.88 two sandwiches and a ginger ale. No greeting still or nothing. A man walks in and disappears in the back as I’m there I just asked, is it okay for me to be here is it a problem? He replies it’s coming like the food is almost ready I say ok. I get handed a bag and leave. I eat one in the car immediately they used reheated bacon and the egg was flat like they cooked one single egg per sandwich. It was NOT. New York City style maybe Rochester ny style or New York ave in Texas style but not like the five boro

If you are open til 9, why is there no food at 8;30? Not coming to buy a bottle of mountaintop water. Up to now, experience has been good. Not tonight.

I stumbled upon this spot by chance and decided to give it a try. It was quiet and clean. Lots of choice for drinks and dessert in the fridges. However, I only ordered a breakfast platter and a chopped cheese. The breakfast platter came with egg, bacon strawberries, oranges and French Toast. You can alternatively have pancakes or sausage and ham. I thought it was pretty tasty. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Not hard as a rock, but nice and crispy. The egg was folded and maybe would've been better with some cheese. I'm not sure if I could've asked for that. It was satisfying regardless. The French Toast was honestly really good. Definitely the star of the show. And then the strawberries and oranges tasted very fresh. Next up was the chopped cheese. It was good but left a bit to be desired. Not that the flavor wasn't tasty, but maybe a little more meat could've been used. All the ingredients that made it up were great, but with the thickness of the bread that was used, it felt like there wasn't enough meat to compensate. Might just be a personal preference. But, all that said, I recommend this place. They were nice, friendly and kept me updated if my wait went beyond what was said p

Tried the deli side after seeing so many good pics on their social media. Went to the deli for breakfast sandwiches and was pretty disappointed. We waited for 30+ minutes even though people who got there after us got their food before us. Overall the sandwiches were lackluster. The bagel itself wasn’t even toasted, no flavor, and overall very plain. It was not worth the wait. I say pass on this one.
